Une découverte comme je les aime : au froid contact des messages électroniques
Il cherche l’authenticité et possède cette sensible apparence d’un grand enfant. |

A discovery of a kind I particularly like : Warm, genuine and sincere human relationships can still emerge from cold electronic messages …
This is what happened with my friend Phil and his wife Kathy, whom I met somewhere in the middle of the wonderful English countryside. Phil, who used to be a jockey has become, like me, like you and may be even more than us, a great fan and connoisseur of pedal cars. He gives them time, much time, his know – how, his love and will soon open a museum dedicated to them. This genuine, extremely simple, elegant smiling couple lives for pedal cars. They go on trips to Europe to meet experts and or see nice creations. Phil the « golden hands » makes few rare and wonderful pedal cars in glass fibre. From the jaguar type E to the Triumph TR3 Phil has made a marvellous Jaguar XK 120. He is full of creative spirit and invents knacks to make his cars. His creations are real art works designed for real amateurs but also toys children can play with : I am convinced that the young and happy pilotes of the cars he makes will not deny this …
Phil loves both French and English car manufacturers and he owns a very wide range of models (including more than 200 items). He has remarkable lines Brother or Triang dating back to the thirties along with some of our Eureka models and a few cars probably made by private people like the lovely Bugatti in his workshop.
He wants authenticity and has the sensitive behaviour of a big child …. |
